Child Guidance Resource Centers’ ID Socialization Program in Delaware County provides scheduled recreation and socialization opportunities for adults 21 years and older with developmental disabilities. Through structured recreational activities, the program helps you build social skills, develop long-lasting friendships, enhance self-esteem, and participate more actively in your community.
Activities range from crafts, dances, baking, and bingo to attending baseball games, playing miniature golf, dining in restaurants, and watching theatre productions.
The group meets every Monday and Thursday from 6:30-9pm and every other Wednesday from 7-9pm as well as one monthly Saturday activity.
The Socialization Program helps you build the skills necessary to comfortably participate in recreational activities in your own communities. We focus on helping you develop the skills needed for successful social independence.
