Prevention Programs (ATOD)
At Child Guidance Resource Centers, we believe prevention is most effective when young people, families, and communities are equipped early with knowledge, skills, and strong relationships. Our Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug (ATOD) Prevention Program is built on that belief. Through education, early intervention, and community collaboration, we work to reduce substance misuse and strengthen protective factors that help youth and families thrive.
This program is a highly interactive, research-based prevention program that addresses key predictors of substance use, violence-related behaviors, and other risk factors.
Our ATOD Prevention Programs help to provide strategies and insight so youth can make healthier choices. We help people develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to be more resilient. CGRC delivers ATOD prevention services across Delaware and Montgomery Counties, partnering with families, schools, and community organizations to create healthier outcomes for young people.
