CGRC Private Elementary School
The School at CGRC is a licensed, private elementary school located on-site at the CGRC Havertown (Delaware County) location, funded by school districts. The school is designed to support students with emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. Our goal is to help each child develop the emotional capacity to regulate their behavior and engage in academic learning in an effort to transition back to their home school district.
We serve Kindergarten through 8th grade students from Delaware, Montgomery, Chester, and Philadelphia counties who need emotional and behavioral support under the educational classifications of emotional support and/or ADHD.
Smaller Classrooms, Individual Supports
Each CGRC classroom is led by a certified teacher and a classroom counselor, with students grouped in small multi-grade cohorts to ensure individualized programming. Our school day runs from 8:45 AM to 3:00 PM. Students are provided with individualized assessments of their social-emotional learning and academic needs, and all services are tailored to each student’s individual goals.

With services such as weekly music therapy and on-site behavioral support, students receive consistent, coordinated care throughout the school day. Our school team believes deeply in supporting high-need learners, creating a small, close-knit community grounded in compassion and the belief that it’s never too late to turn the day around.
Our Referral Process
Students are referred by their school district, often through the IEP team, when individualized attention and targeted emotional or behavioral support will help them succeed. Enrollment requires district referral, parental consent, and CGRC acceptance, with length of stay varying based on student goals.
