CGRC’s Schools-Based Program equips school districts with the tools, resources, and expertise needed to address student mental health, behavioral challenges, school safety concerns, and academic barriers to success. Our Tiered Service Model
Introductory Support: Early Learning and Prevention (Tier1)
Designed for schools looking to strengthen prevention efforts and build staff capacity, this level focuses on creating positive learning environments and supporting students before challenges escalate.
Services may include:
- Trauma-informed care training
- Classroom behavior management consultation
- Teacher and staff professional development (Act 48, Act 53, PQAS, and PA LCSW and LPC approved)
- Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) program implementation
- Parent and caregiver workshops
- Early screening and intervention for developmental, behavioral, and emotional concerns
Intermediate Support: Academic and Behavioral Intervention (Tiers 2 and 3)
For students requiring targeted support, CGRC provides evidence-based interventions that address academic struggles, behavioral challenges, and executive functioning needs.
Services may include:
- Individualized assessments for learning disabilities and educational needs
- Small-group academic interventions
- Executive functioning coaching for students with ADHD, Executive Skills deficits, and related challenges
- Peer mentorship and tutoring programs
- Behavioral intervention planning and support
- Social skills groups and counseling services
Comprehensive Support: Full ES Program Implementation (Tiers 2 and 3)
Schools seeking a fully integrated partnership can implement CGRC’s comprehensive Educational Support (ES) model. This full-service approach embeds CGRC staff within the school environment to provide ongoing support for students, educators, and families.
Services may include:
- Daily in-school and classroom-based CGRC staff support
- Student assessments and progress monitoring
- Social skills programming
- Individual and group therapeutic services
- Staff coaching and consultation
- Collaboration with school teams and families
- Integration of behavioral health supports into the school day

CGRC clinicians utilize evidence-based assessment tools, including the PHQ-9, GAD screening tools, trauma assessments, and the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS), while collaborating closely with school leaders, families, and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
