Today, due to the inclement weather, CREATE will be virtual. Counselors will reach out with schedules this morning! Stay safe.
CREATE is a year round, innovative group outpatient service for children and young adults with autism. Participants build social and communication skills, improve problem solving and emotional regulation, and enhance flexibility and motivation. In CREATE, we help participants make and maintain friendships, enhance communication skills, develop emotional flexibility and regulation, and work with your family in order to maintain progress and growth.
CREATE uses concepts from evidence-based interactive therapies including ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), PRT (Pivotal Response Therapy), Hidden Curriculum, QuestTM, Social ThinkingTM, social stories, and behavior mapping. Family therapy and parent workshops are also a regular component of CREATE.
